About Me.

A philosophy graduate, I came to stone through art foundation where I had the chance to work with masons in Blackburn. I was immediately hooked and have been hitting stone ever since.

I trained at Weymouth college in the 90's for 2 years. It is  the leader in this field. I achieved an advanced Diploma in architectural stone carving, masonry and letter cutting.

After completing my training I worked on the cathedral in Vienna, Stephansdom,   carving and replacing stone crockets.

I have been working as a self employed stone carver for more than 15 years.

My work has taken me to Vienna and the Hebrides among other places and I have completed both public and private commissions.

I welcome any enquiries and would be happy to meet potential clients at my workshop in Ancrum, near Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders.
